Lithium--Li

Lithium is the first of the alkali metals, and is highly reactive. In fact, it is the first element of the activity series. Lithium's atomic number is 3 and Li's atomic mass is 6.941. It has a density of 0.53 g/cm3, melts at 453.5 K and boils at 1615 K. Lithium has been used as an antidepressant, as is mirrored in the Nirvana song titled "Lithium," which goes "I'm so happy 'cause today I found my friends, they're in my head. I'm so ugly, that's okay 'cause so are you..."

Lithium's electron configuration is 1s22s2.

Li's electronegativity is 0.98.
